Capital Inspectors specializes in providing coating inspection, coating management, coating failure analysis, consulting and surveys for protective coatings and corrosion control projects. Our team of inspectors along with their combined years of experience is of immense value to our customers.
Coating Inspection can prevent problems that occur during the application phase of a coating system. When a NACE Coating Inspector is present during the surface preparation and coating application process, errors can be prevented saving valuable time and cost. Documentation of weather conditions, dew points, relative humidity, surface temperatures, anchor profiles, substrate cleanliness, batch numbers, PA -2 dry film thickness readings, pictures of each phase and acceptance are duties our coating inspector performs.
Coating and Corrosion Assessment Site Visits are performed by a coating/corrosion specialist and is an investigative way to examine corrosion and coating failures. This site visit would consist of fact finding, data gathering and reporting of all findings. General causes of paint failures can be recognized during a site visit and a plan for further action can be generated.
Coating Management allows our customers to entrust their projects to us for turn-key service. We will survey the areas of concern, perform corrosion and coating condition assessment, submit a report of our findings, prepare recommendations and budget estimates and support the job with a NACE certified coating inspector.
